It all started with a scarf!! When Edgar and Theresa Hyman founded Echo Scarves in the early 1920s, they set up shop in the heart of New York City, capturing its vibrancy in gorgeous colors, patterns and textures. Today, that rich heritage of timeless quality, craftsmanship and integrity lives on in every new line of fashion accessories, bags, beachwear and home design. Echo continues to draw inspiration from the vitality and diversity of the surrounding.
Echo had established itself successfully in the market. From production to purchase, each piece is created with the utmost quality and care. Echo introduced its first beach collection featuring cover-ups and beach bags right after the scarves. Their way of playing with the colors is really incredible. It adds a charming visual to the look as it is shown on the kimonos and the front knit poncho /duster. Echo decided to bring back the original 1923 logo script and to make it the centerpiece of its new identity. “Never take yourself too seriously attitude” is echoing through Echo’s print and mark and it is still a general concept adopted by the brand.
